THE SERENE

This new build interior design project in Box Hill, NSW was shaped for a family who had purchased a builder home with a generic layout that failed to prioritise the kitchen, zoning, or the tactile beauty they wanted in their everyday living spaces. The original plan did not reflect their Mediterranean heritage or support the way they cook, gather, and move through the home. We carried out a strategic layout review and completed material specification, redesigning the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms to create a stronger flow, a larger ensuite, a butler’s pantry, and a dedicated coffee and drinks zone, all within the allowed footprint. Calacatta Viola marble, handmade tiles, an arched bathroom portal, and carefully considered lighting, surfaces, flooring, and ceiling design brought warmth, character, and sensory richness to the home, resulting in a refined residential interior that feels generous, personal, and deeply connected to family life and roots.
