This apartment renovation in Russell Lea, NSW was created for a couple entering a new stage of life, seeking a home that felt calmer, more spacious, and better aligned with the way they now live. Their apartment lacked a kitchen that could truly support daily use, and the interiors did not reflect the sense of ease, refinement, and maturity they wanted after their children had grown up. We delivered a full service interior design solution, redesigning the kitchen and bathrooms, refining ceiling design, lighting, and joinery detailing, and reworking the material palette to optimise space within the existing footprint. Natural, sensory materials and a muted colour scheme brought softness and restraint to the apartment, resulting in a minimal, restorative interior that feels elegant, functional, and deeply suited to this next chapter.
